Willowood Industries, a subsidiary of Willowood Group, one of the leading agrochemical companies that manufactures crop protection products for domestic and global markets, recently inaugurated a brand-new production plant for producing technical products on 25 August 2022, in Dahej, Gujarat, India. Mr. Vijay Mundhra, Chairman of Willowood Limited, and Mr. Parikshit Mundhra, Managing Director of Willowood Chemicals Ltd., flipped the switch to commence production on the first line.
This plant is located in India’s prime and largest chemical belt at Dahej, Gujarat, with close proximity to raw material sources and excellent connectivity to key ports, railways, and road networks.
At Willowood Industries Pvt. Ltd., there are a total of five plants at this site that will produce 18 technical-grade pesticides at a time, with a strong emphasis on backward integration in the production process.
This facility is a state-of-the-art, DCS-controlled, zero-liquid-discharge manufacturing facility designed to produce 18,000 MT of technical products.
With this investment, Willowood completes its plan of becoming a fully backward- and forward-integrated company, from producing intermediates and technical products to offering final products to farmers through its distribution channels.
This new manufacturing facility will allow Willowood to become more competitive and better positioned to offer international buyers a credible source for technical products and formulations.
